If you have more than one 80 character, you can double or triple the amount of gold you can make. The more 80s you have with maxed out professions, the bigger your income will be. Enchanting is always a good one to have maxed out, in order to disenchant items you find or craft and sell the resulting materials. High level Enchanting materials can fetch a large amount of gold on the Auction House and are always in demand.
Don't just craft your things and put them on the Auction House, though - be proactive. The Trade channel is there for a reason! Look for work with your professions - there will always be someone who needs something crafted or enchanted, you just need to find them. You can either charge a small fee or get them to bring their own materials, or charge them to use your own. If you happen to own hard-to-obtain or rare recipes or enchants, this will net you more gold as well.
You can never have enough World of Warcraft gold, but people often forget that your profession can be a great source of income. The higher your profession level, the easier it will be to make wow gold.
