Currently, World of Warcraft is the most popular online game and guide is one of the greatest things about this game. How to create a successful World of Warcraft raiding guide? Here you will learn the fundamentals of creating and maintaining a guild of players. You will also learn how to encourage recruitment, select guild members, create a guild in-game, create a guild website, start raiding and become the number one guild on your server.
There are several ways to help you to create it, see below:
The first way is to identify possible members to join your guide. What you do is to create a list of members and arrange them from most likely to join to least likely to join. The first member is the hardest to get, but if you can get a really popular player or someone that is respected o the server, it helps to lend credibility to your guild. Remember that people are unlikely to join a guild that is not raiding or accomplishing anything so make sure you have at least 10 committed people to start before you make a guild. A good way to get this started is to create a custom chat channel in Wow by typing "join channel name" and invite people to that channel to brainstorm about a new guild if they are interested.
To entice people to join, let them know you are going to be creating a raiding guild and that you intend to have only good players. A strong raiding guild has active members that show up to 75% of raids, strong officers who will discipline their members if they break the rules and strong goals which will be achieved.
The second way is to make a guild when you have some people interested in your channel. When picking a guild name, pick something that is not offensive to others.
The third way is to create your guild with your name and get your ten members to sign the charter. Now promote the appropriate people to officers. The best organization is to have you as guild leader, have 1 person that is really active and maybe a good friend of yours as Co-GM. Have 1 officer per class, and the rest members.
The fourth way is to create rules. Rules should be set for conduct and clear expectations set for each member. Set raid times, loot rules. The best loot rules are a DKP system, which gives set values to items and people earn DKP for showing up to raids. Set raid times so that the majority of your guild will be able to show up to every raid. I'd recommend starting with 3 to 4 nights a week at 4 hours each night for raiding.
The fifth way is to create guide bank and tabard. Encourage people to donate consumables, gold and other items to guild bank, and let them know they are appreciated.
You select your first instance and raid day. Pick something that you know will be successful, the first raid is important. If you need to, invite people outside the guild to help with class balance if needed. Now that you've had your first raid, evaluate it. Make a list of things that went well and things that need improvement. Ask members for feedback.
The sixth way is to create a guide recruitment post on your server forums letting them know your first raid went well and telling them what classes you are still looking for. The more people you can get the better chances that you will find good players
The last but not least, you add guide members, raid harder instances, dish out loot and become the number one guild on the server. As a new guide, you should remember that you may have to invite people that might not have the gear you are looking for. Think of them as an investment. Just make sure they are good players.
